Miracle Number One:
We submitted an application for Permanent Residency on Nov 19th, 2019 and ALL GLORY TO GOD, this past Monday in South Africa, a judge ruled that department of Home Affairs is required to grant it to Dan. It was hard to wait, but we are so thankful to finally be told we can return home to our life and ministry in South Africa. We are incredibly thankful!!
My kids kept saying, “Mom, really? Crying again?!” I kept replying, “I am just so happy! Can’t help it!”
For awhile now, our prayers for the right paperwork and our desire to return to Africa has always been followed up by “IF it is your will God.” The unknown of that “IF” has been weighing heavy on us for over two years. Now the “IF” is gone and we are left with the unknown of “WHEN” we can return. “WHEN” feels much lighter!
What you can pray for next:
– for an expedited process to actually get that PR certificate in our hands.
– for Janell, Miesha, and Titus to also be able to get their PRs quickly
We know there have been an army of prayer warriors joining us to pray for breakthrough and favor in this permanent residency process – thank you, thank you, thank you!
We don’t know when we can return to Africa yet, because we actually need to get Dan‘s PR certificate in our hands before we can make further plans. Once we have that, our agent will advise us as to whether it may be quicker to apply for the other 3 PRs we need in Los Angeles or in Johannesburg and we will adjust accordingly.
Either way, we will probably be in USA until the first quarter of 2024, maybe a bit longer.
Miracle Number Two is still needed:
We received a late night phone call from Dan‘s sister Trisha on Wednesday saying that her husband Brad had suffered a massive heart attack and is currently on life support. Brad needs a miracle! Currently there is no brain activity and the Doctors will make a call about what to do tomorrow. Please will your add your prayers to ours for healing and wholeness for Brad’s brain and heart. Thank you!
Please also pray for Trisha as this is incredibly traumatic and difficult. Dan is likely to fly to be with her in a couple days.
Brad is pictured below.
